The Chook Book This colourful wall poster is packed with the latest information about eggs, including their nutritional qualities, storage information and fascinating facts about the various parts of eggs. It’s ideal for use in schools but also a handy teaching aid for hospitality venues and retailers.

Chook Book

The Chook Book is for young students aged between eight and 11 years. Consistent with the New Zealand teaching curriculum it covers:

  • Historical linkages between birds and people
  • Poultry meat and egg farming
  • Meat and egg consumption and the role of poultry in human nutrition.

Poultry Biology Book

The Poultry Biology Book is aimed at secondary school students, introducing a broad perspective of the poultry meat and egg industries in line with the biology curriculum, and providing 16 student exercises. The Poultry Biology Book provides factual information on how chickens are farmed and explores some of the controversial topics in farming, the environment and food safety.
